This site is run by the owners of the businesses listed on it, to sell those businesses privately. This page explains what we do with the details you give us.

What we collect

• What you tell us when you enquire or register: your name, email, mobile, any company name, and your answers about budget, funding, experience and timing.
• The confidentiality agreement you sign, if you go ahead - with the time and the internet (IP) address you signed from, kept as evidence of the signature.
• Basic visit information: the page you viewed, the site that sent you and your country. Your IP address is not stored - visits are counted using a one-way code that cannot be turned back into it.
• One cookie that remembers which advertisement you arrived from, for 30 days.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to decide whether to release information to you, and to send you the information you ask for. We do not use it for anything else.

Who sees it

Only the owner of the business you enquired about, and their professional advisers (accountant, solicitor). We never sell your details or share them for marketing.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Your details are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, whose systems may be located outside Australia. We keep them while the sale is under way and for up to two years afterwards, because a signed confidentiality agreement stays in force, and then delete them.

Seeing or correcting your details

Reply to any email we have sent you and ask. We will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it where the law allows.
